Our Approach
FOUNDATIONS
Through conversations, time on the ground, we listen, build trust, and understand the realities, interests, and voices within the community.
CERTIFIED PATHWAYS
We open pathways into recognised certifications that allow participants to step into guiding, conservation, and forest-based work.
These pathways are shaped in collaboration with government agencies, certification bodies, and partner institutions — ensuring they are both credible and accessible.
APPLIED STORYTELLING
Suara Gunung nurture participants in sharing indigenous knowledge and forest-based experiences through storytelling and digital platforms.
It strengthens confidence, communication, and representation, ensuring that Orang Asli & community voices are part of broader environmental and cultural conversations.
As participants grow in knowledge and experience, they step into pathways that sustain both people and the forest.
These include community-led initiatives such as nurseries and conservation work, as well as guided forest journeys shaped by local knowledge and stewardship.
Together, these pathways create meaningful, long-term relationships with the forest.
