To support Orang Asli youth in accessing pathways within guiding, conservation, and forest-based livelihoods

Grounded in knowledge, dignity, and long-term care for the land.

Our Approach

Penjaga Gunung exists to bridge gaps between communities and the systems that shape conservation and ecotourism today. We focus on enabling access by supporting Indigenous youth to move within existing pathways, while ensuring that knowledge, agency, and dignity remain with the communities themselves.

01

Open Pathways

Creating access to guiding, certification, and conservation opportunities.

02

Support Livelihoods

Enabling sustainable, forest-based income pathways that are community-led.

03

Strengthen Continuity

Supporting the transfer and presence of Orang Asli knowledge across generations.

Build Relationships

Working alongside communities, partners, and institutions through trust and long-term collaboration.
